Linda has had a passion for movement since her early childhood as a ballerina. Dance evolved and lead her to pursue a career in fitness. Linda has worked in the Fitness industry for over a decade. She began teaching Spinning & Group Exercise classes. Linda also received her Crossfit L1 Coach certification and coached for 2 years. It was a rewarding experience to see people enter the gym weak and defeated and gain strength and self-confidence! Linda attended a Yoga class in 1998 and fell in love with the feeling. After about 6 classes the teacher moved out of state never to return. Unfortunately this was when there weren’t any yoga studios in Miami Lakes. She continued to follow her curiosity and in 2010 took a course at Polestar Pilates which completely changed the trajectory of her life. The understanding of the energetic body and connection between mind and body lit her passion once again. While working at Lululemon she attended a community sweat session at 305 Yoga in Miami Shores… The rest is history. Yoga took over. Linda went on to fulfill a decades long dream to attend a Yoga Teacher training. In 2014, Linda completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher training with 305 Yoga under the guidance of Claire Santos & Terri Cooper. This course left an imprint and further fueled her passion to pursue Yoga & Meditation as a way of life. In 2016 Linda traveled to India to further her immersion along the Yogic path and completed her 300Hour teacher training at Sattva Center under the guidance of Anand Mehrotra. Linda believes that we must always be open and remain a student. Every experience on the mat teaches us something if we remain receptive. The past 3 years have given Linda the opportunity to practice under the guidance of many world renowned teachers. Dharma Mittra, Seanne Corne, Shiva Rea, Tim Feldman, Briohny Smyth just to name a few. Linda classes are accessible with variations for all students. Her classes include lively and soulful playlists. Expect to sweat and learn the reason for specific posture sequencing. Linda’s ultimate goal is to give her students knowledge of self so they can continue to meet themselves authentically.
